We are thrilled to announce that Pavel Pinkas has officially joined our portfolio company Ranketta as Founding Partner and Chief Sales Officer to drive their global expansion.
The connection is a true Lighthouse Ventures ecosystem story. We previously backed Pavel’s e-commerce search tool, Persoo, which he successfully exited to Luigi’s Box. Late last year, when we were evaluating an investment in Ranketta, our partner Michal Zálešák introduced Pavel to Ranketta’s founder, Vojtěch Oravec. Pavel’s initial product evaluation quickly evolved into a strong collaboration, ultimately leading to this full-time partnership.
Ranketta is perfectly positioned to solve a massive emerging challenge for brands: ensuring visibility in the new era of AI-driven search, such as ChatGPT and Gemini. This shift toward “agentic commerce”—where AI models recommend products directly to users—is happening rapidly. Ranketta’s traction reflects this urgency, with the company already experiencing amazing growth.
By bringing a seasoned founder like Pavel on board to scale the commercial operations and build strategic partnerships, Vojtěch gains the space to focus on product development and expanding their footprint into the US market.
