Applicants with just an idea may get not only EUR 20K, but also help with the right market approach and investment materials from Lighthouse experts as well as a fast-track to investments of up to EUR 700K.

Lighthouse Ventures (www.lhv.eu.com), an early stage venture capital fund, based in Prague, launched the second batch of its acceleration program: Lighthouse Accelerator.

The accelerator, which is designed for idea-stage projects, does not require candidates to present preliminary materials such as a pitch-deck or a detailed business plan in order to qualify, but assist participants to create such materials professionally throughout the program.

Lighthouse accelerator is offering an initial investment of EUR 20,000 for two months, an ongoing individual mentoring as well as free office space in Prague, for the time of the program. Successful participants of the program should expect to graduate with a compelling business plan, MVP’s (Minimum Viable Product) key feature planning and design prototype, viable go-to-market strategy and some practical tools to kick-off their business. High-performing graduates of the program may also win follow-on funding of up to EUR 700,000 by Lighthouse Ventures.

“Lighthouse Accelerator is all about strong teams and brilliant ideas,” said Michal Zálešák, Managing Partner at Lighthouse Ventures. “The initial steps of startups are the most critical, this is where we see that crucial mistakes are happening. We help startups to avoid them and go in the right direction towards global success.”

Applications for the second acceleration batch are accepted via email at contact@lhv.eu.com.
